PAYMENT PROTECTION SERVICE

  1. Mecielo priority is to give a secure shopping environment to its users, therefore, we provide our users with Payment Protection Service with the objective to protect our buyers and sellers against fraudulent transactions and to keep our online shopping platform safe and secure.
  2. Payment Protection Service is a service provided by Mecielo for our users where transaction among Members can be undertake safely and to improve the reliability of e-commerce services. Payment Protection Service means the service whereby the company will refund the payment made by the Buyer, in accordance with the purchase and sale agreement (which payment is then transferred to the relevant sellers, in the event the Buyer did not received the product purchased within the Purchase Finalization Period, as mentioned below ;

           Purchase Finalization Period :i. Local Order – 14 days – with an extension period of 5 days   

  1. Pre Order – 25 days – with an extension period of 3 days
  2. The Payment Protection Service is provided for the purpose of enhancing the safety and reliability of the purchase and sale of the product among the members and protecting the buyer who is required to make payment before he/she receives the purchased.
  3. The provision of the Payment Protection Service by the Company does not make the Company a representative of the seller or the buyer, nor does it mean that the company is acting as a proxy for the buyer and seller in carrying out the obligations of the seller or the buyer in connection with the purchase and sale of the products.
  4. The company cannot be requested to return any interest, etc that are incurred on the payment that are in custody of the company and subsequently obtained by the company, in the course of providing the Payment Protection Service.
  5. Any users, who uses the Payment Protection Service shall express his/her intent to finalize the purchase, exchange or return at the time when the product has been delivered.
  6. The Payment Protection Service is terminated when buyers expresses his or her intent to finalize the purchase or is deemed that the Buyer has such intent.
  7. In the event the buyer fails to express his or her intent to exchange or return within the Purchase Finalization Period,(i.e 3 days after the delivery days) following the completion of the delivery of the relevant products, it shall be deemed that the buyer has the intent to finalize the purchase.
  8. In the event the buyer has the intent to finalize the purchase or it is deemed that the buyer has such intent, the company may remit the related payment of the products to the seller.
  9. In the case of occurrence of the grounds to withdraw, cancel, terminate, nullify or etc, the agreement after the termination of the Payment Protection Service, the Buyer shall undertake the relevant procedures directly with the seller to withdraw, cancel, terminate or etc the agreement and to obtain a refund of the purchase price.
  10. Once the buyer accepts the order and send us the notification of acceptance, then only the payment will be released to the seller’s account. However, if the buyer fails to confirm the receipt of the purchased item within 14 days from the date of the item being shipped and upon submission of evidence by the seller, i.e tracking number and proper checking with the shipping company, mecielo will assume that the Buyer has received the goods purchased and therefore will release the payment to the seller.
  11. For Local Orders, buyers can expect to received their order s within 3- 5 days from the date of the item being shipped for West Malaysia and 7- 10 days for East Malaysia.
  12. Kindly email us at paymentprotectionservice@mecielo.com or call/whatsapp us at 010-3966626 if the item purchased has not reached you within the time given above, so that we can make the necessary checking with the seller.
  13. Orders will be automatically cancelled if :-
  14. The seller has been inactive for 7 consecutive days;
  15. The seller has not shipped the item or clicked ‘shipped’ by the end of Mecielo Protection            Service Period;

           iii.    If an order has been cancelled due to the above reasons, mecielo will take the    necessary action to refund the buyer.

  1. In any event you have still not received your order at the final day of the extension period, please file for a refund before the extension period ends. Please email us at customerservice@mecielo.com any of the problem relating to return/refund/exchange of items.
  2. The request should only be made within the Payment Protection Service Period otherwise the payment will be released to the seller.
  3. If the buyer fails to express their intent to finalize the purchase / return / exchange/return within the Purchase Finalization Period, the company may deem that the intent to finalize the purchase has been made and take the procedure to automatically finalize the relevant purchase (‘Automatic Finalization of Purchase’) on the business date immediately succeeding the expiration date of such period.
  4. Upon the conclusion of the Automatic Finalization of Purchase, the Company may remit the payment, which is in the custody of the Company to the seller, in a manner designated by the seller.
  5. Once the Automatic Finalization of Purchase is concluded, the buyer may not raise any objection against the Company of such non-arrival of products, request to return and etc. The Buyer shall directly settle with the seller any issue relating to the said matter.
